New York Mets' minor league infielder Luis Guillorme is talked about as the farm system's best defender, and while he's surely made highlight reel grabs in the field of play, he made the defensive play of spring training from a standing position in the dugout.

During the Mets' spring training game against the Miami Marlins on Thursday, Guillorme was standing in the dugout watching Marlins' Adeiny Hechavarria take bat. On a swing, Hechavarria lost control of the bat and it came flying towards the Mets' dugout. While most Mets' players went diving towards the ground to avoid the bat, Guillorme stayed cool, calm and collected, reaching out and catching the bat with one hand. And with relative ease, no less!

We've watched the highlight maybe 100 times, and we're still not 100% sure how he did it. At first it looks fake, then once slowed down you realizes how cool this catch really is. It might be the coolest thing we've ever seen. And he does it without flinching. As if he knew he was going to catch the incoming bat the entire way to his hand.

Luis Guillorme may or may not have superhuman abilities... just saying.
