Flashback Friday was in full effect for Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin this afternoon.
After leading his team to their fifth Stanley Cup, the 30-year-old is undoubtedly one of the city's athletic heroes. But Geno still wanted to remind his fans that he hasn't always been apart of the Penguins family.
In his most recent Instagram post, Malkin posted an awesome photo of himself rocking an old school Boston Bruins hat.
The caption was money, as you wuold expect from the Russian.
Though it was posted in fun, the picture might actually bring up some bad memories for Pittsburgh fans. If you can recall, Boston swept Pittsburgh in the 2013 Conference Final before ultimately losing to the Chicago Blackhawks.
Regardless, everyone can agree that the hat is very, very nice. It's hard to say the same thing about his snack choice, however.
As it stands, Malkin is fourth on the Penguins' all-time point list with 832, so when it comes down to it, the guy can really get away with whatever he wants.
