Sometimes we forget that hockey, like any sport, is a business and at the end of the day, trades happen and players come and go.

Sunday, the Washington Capitals dealt 26-year-old Marcus Johansson to the New Jersey Devils in exchange for draft picks and the move shocked some fans.

Nobody was more shocked by the move than Johansson, though, who wasn't even awake when it happened and found out about it one of the worst ways.

Imagine waking up in the morning and finding out you've been traded.  Mornings already suck enough, but being blindsided by a trade probably made it worse for Johansson.

That said, he's going to a team that should be exciting and more competitive this season based on the moves and draft picks they've made this offseason.
