The Washington Capitals are absolutely steamrolling teams across the NHL right now. They are 9-0-1 in their last ten, have the most points in the league and lead the league in goal differential – a combination of things that give them plenty of reason to dance.

However, it’s not the players that are doing the dancing, it’s Lars Johansson (Marcus Johansson’s dad) and their Head Coach, Barry Trotz.

After the Captials win against the Blues on Thursday, Johansson’s father (Who was there as a part of the Capital’s annual dad’s trip) started breaking it down. The whole team was loving the display and, despite his intial hesitance, Lars even got the usually stoic Trotz to join in.

The players fathers always seem to have loads of fun on these trips, and it would be great to see more behind the scenes action like this on a regular basis. Being around family always loosens the players up a bit and makes for a lot of fun.

Plus, we can see where the players get some of their skill from. For example, just check out Nazem Kadri’s dad, Sam Kadri, firing wrist shots while on the Leafs’ dad trip.
