You see him perform in the hockey rink every time the Winnipeg Jets take the ice, but we doubt you've seen him take the stage.

According to the Winnipeg Jets, Mark Scheifele will be joining the Royal Winnipeg Ballet on December 30th to perform in 'The Nutcracker' in a walk-on role. Walk-on roles are a bit of a tradition for city celebrities in the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and due to Scheifele's profession, the Jets' centre will be given a role in the pond hockey game, a Canadian addition to The Nutcracker ballet.

If you live in the Winnipeg area, the performance will take place at the Centennial Concert Hall on December 30th.
