Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner always seem to have the best Instagram comments on pictures of each other and that continued with this photo of Matthews.
Matthews is in California for the summer, and was spending time with model Jordyn Johnson. In the photo, of course he has his unqiue fashion style, but something else caught Marner’s eye: the purple fidget spinner in Matthews’ hand.
Marner clearly has excellent vision, because barely any of the fidget spinner is peaking out, but he was able to spot it.
Clearly he wasn’t the only one either as Leafs fans were thrilled to see Matthews participating in the latest millennial trend.
Of course, it should come as no surprise, Matthews, Marner and all of the Leafs young guns seem to be on top of most trends in pop culture. From dabs to Harambe sweaters, the Leafs young guys are just kids having some fun.
