This put Matt Murray's girlfriend, Christina Sirignano, in a bit of an awkward situation on Sunday night. Following the Penguins cup win, the couple celebrated the joyous moment with a kiss that made for a pretty humorous TV moment.
Having just sweat under a mask for more than an hour, Murray's beard must have been pretty darn sweaty, which would explain his girlfriend's reaction. Well, when Sirignano posted a picture of the moment on Instagram she took the opportunity to explain her reaction in the caption.
Holdup, Beckham? As in David Beckham? No, no. The Beckham Sirignano is referring to is the couple's adorable Newfoundland pup, who also happens to have his very own Instagram account.
Seems like a pretty accurate comparison. We bet this pup can't wait to get his drool into the Stanley Cup when Murray gets his day with it.
