On Wednesday night the New York Mets got crushed 7-1 to the Milwaukee Brewers, and fans were understandably a little upset.
The Mets' mascot, Mr. Met, is arguably the biggest Mets fans of them all, and was just as upset, if not more upset than most fans. In fact, Mr. Met was so mad that he made a major league mistake and expressed his feelings during Wednesday's game with an obscene gesture towards some fans. The gesture was caught on camera, and immediately went viral online.
The Mets organization got word of the incident, and took to Twitter to apologize for the mascots actions:
We imagine Mr. Met is going to get in some pretty big trouble for this one, and could be out of work by tomorrow morning.
