The Calgary Flames really haven't had any stability in net since Miikka Kiprusoff was the team's goalie.

Kipper retired as the leader in nearly every career goaltending category in Flames history, including wins, goals against average and save percentage.

The 40-year-old wasn't only dominant for Calgary, though.  He was also very good for Finland when he represented his home country internationally.  On Thursday, Kipper was rewarded for his fantastic hockey career as he was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame and his acceptance speech was shockingly short.

So, in other words...

As per the Calgary Flames website, Kipper's speech included poking fun at former Jokerit team owner and Hjallis Harkemo and he ended it by saying "thanks everybody" in Finnish.

The fact that he somehow managed to make fun of someone in 13 words is remarkable and it makes the speech as a whole even better.  Congrats Kipper on such a well deserved honour!
