Marriage proposals come in different forms. Some are simple, some are more complex, and some… are a little more rushed.
In comes Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin.
The Great 8’s wife, Nastya, recently sat down with Caps beat reporter Samantha Pell and explained how her husband ended up on a knee. It’s definitely not the most romantic proposal we’ve heard, but it’s just sooooooo Ovi. Here’s how it went down:
“no, no, no, I wanted to right now.” Guess when you know, you know?
Y’know?
The couple welcomed their first son, Sergei, in 2018. And guess what everyone?! The Ovechkins are expecting another child.
Regardless of how the proposal went down, the couple seems very happy. The world needs more baby Ovis!
