NBA 2K18 has a new feature this year where they have an all-time roster for every team.

The mode will include players from past and present, and it appears only their time with the individual club is included in the assessment. Of course, having never been a championship team, being one of the newer teams in the league and not even having a number retired, the Raptors are a bit behind the 8-ball on this one.

Obviously the most prolific player to ever play for the squad was Vince Carter, in the peak of the Vinsanity era, so he’s on there. However, when you get to the lower end of the list, things start to get a little questionable.

Of course, Terrence Ross and Amir Johnson were fan favourites in Toronto, but it’s just bizarre to think of them as part of the all-time team. Perhaps it’s just because they played for the team so recently, but it definitely seems a little off.

Either way, the Raptors sit 29th in the league in terms of their average rating for their all-time roster at 84.87. As you would expect, the Lakers, Celtics and Warriors round out the top three and all of their averages are in the 90s.

If the Raptors want to be successful in the next couple of years, they’ll need some of their young players to step up. Perhaps Norm Powell can make his way onto this list before the year is out.

Cheers to Norm Powell for putting on a show last night. 🍻
