There has been a large variety of hairstyles showcased throughout NBA history.
Players such as Allen Iverson infamously rocked the cornrows, while the legendary Michael Jordan kept things clean with no hair at all. Today, there are all sorts of styles in the league including Kelly Olynyk’s luscious flow and Iman Shumpert’s occasional high-top fade.

An artist did some experimenting to see what some of today’s ‘fresh cuts’ would look like on the league’s older faces and the results were hilarious. Some players rocked their new look quite well, while others are almost unrecognizable.
We haven’t seen this much hair on any of these players since, well, never. Of them, we’ve got to give it to Jordan and Wade for their awesome braids. Although Miller looking like Shumpert and a young Vince LaSalle from Disney’s Recess is pretty awesome, too.
When you thought it couldn’t get any better, there’s more. Iverson was given a look that kind of makes him look like a backstreet boy, while Kobe was provided with some luscious curls.
For a second, you probably thought the latter was New York Giants superstar Odell Beckham Jr.
Lol.
It’s fun to imagine what kind of hairstyle some of these retired players would rock if they were playing in the NBA today.
