There are three types of sports gamers. Those who only play head-to-head with their friends, those who play HUT/Online modes, and those who spend the majority of their time playing offline franchise mode. EA Sports' newest trailer is going to excite fans who find themselves in that latter group.

Tuesday, the team at EA Sports launched a new trailer for NHL 18, detailing all of the additions/changes that will be included in this year's game.

Talk about depth. There's definitely enough changes in here to satisfy even the harshest of critics. For those who weren't keeping score at home, here's a list of all the changes announced in the trailer.

- Create-a-mascot
- Extend contracts mid-season
- Diverse player ratings
