Sunday, the New York Giants were absolutely obliterated by the Green Bay Packers in their NFC Wildcard game in a performance that saw star receiver Odell Beckham Jr. record a career-high 3 dropped catches. As every athlete who has ever played in the Big Apple knows, the New York media can take down the hyper around a team just as quickly as they can build it. As expected, the tabloids in New York went all out on the Giants after their humiliating loss, pulling no punches.
The internet is no more forgiving than the tabloid papers in New York, and sure enough, football fans let loose with a flurry of jokes following the Giants beatdown.
You likely won't be seeing any of Giants receiver anywhere near a boat in the near future. At least not while there are cameras around.
