You would think that having an NFL quarterback on your dodgeball team would present itself as an advantage. Turns out that's not always the case.

Thursday, during the Pro Bowl Skills Showdown dodgeball game -- a game that's more competitive than the Pro Bowl itself -- Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith lined up his target, pumped his arm back and proceeded to hurl the kinda throw you would expect to see from someone under the age of 5. 

Maybe Smith's grip was loose? Perhaps the ball was a little lighter than he had originally thought. Or maybe it had to do with the fact that he went full sidearm. Whatever the reason was, don't expect Smith to get picked first in another NFL dodgeball game anytime soon.
