The NHL All-Star Game takes place next weekend in Los Angeles, so it’s only fitting that the advertisement for the star-studded weekend got a proper Hollywood makeover.

Instead of going the typical route, the league mixed things up this year and got creative with their All-Star Game ad. Alexander Ovechkin, Sidney Crosby, Anze Kopitar and Patrick Kane all make cameos in the commercial, while it also features some famous movie lines, with some of them being changed just a tad to make them a little more suitable for hockey.

This commercial is very well done and fits the Hollywood theme perfectly, but they’re missing one star in particular that could have put this commercial above and beyond the rest. Of course, he wasn’t able to take part in this year's All-Star Game due to his injury that has kept him sidelined since November, but we’re talking about Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos.

It’s a good thing acting isn’t one of the skills in this year’s skills competition, but the players attending this year’s event probably wish it was since Stamkos will be staying home this year.
