Heading into Game 4 of the Blues and Predators series, every game had been decided by two goals or less.

Playoff hockey games, for the most part, are always close, and the Nashville/St. Louis series is a perfect example of that.  Tuesday night, the close games in the series continued as the game was tied until the third period.

In the final frame, Ryan Ellis gave Nashville a 1-0 lead with a power play goal and the building exploded.

As fans were going nuts, the Nashville bench was doing the same and nobody on the bench had a better reaction to the first goal of the game than head coach Peter Laviolette.

Hey Peter, you pumped right now?

Things only got better from there for Laviolette and the Preds as James Neal scored shortly after and they held on for the 2-1 win to take a 3-1 series lead.

Considering how close every game has been, the Preds still have a long way to go to close out the series, but if they manage to do so, they'll advance to the Western Conference Final for the first time in franchise history.

If they advance, we can't wait to see Laviolette's reaction, that's for sure.
