LaVar Ball has not had a great launch of his new shoe line, although he wouldn’t tell you that.

It came out earlier today that the shoes would be selling for nearly $500 US and he made no apologies for the price. LaVar says that “If you can’t afford the ZO2’s, you’re NOT a BIG BALLER”, which we’re sure many people will be okay with.

Still, for most of the day, it was just internet jokes and the regular memes that come along with news from basketball’s newest heel. However, there has been a new development, one that’s a little more serious.

As our friends at FTW pointed out, Ohio State assistant football coach Zach Smith created a logo for Buckeyes receivers “Zone 6” and it looks very similar to the new ZO2 logo.

The coach then called LaVar out himself by tweeting the logo and changing his Twitter bio.
