On Wednesday night, the Anaheim Ducks topped the Edmonton Oilers in Game 7 to advance to the Western Conference final.

While it was sad to see a run like this come to an end for Oilers fans, clinching their first playoff spot since 2006, then winning a round and taking the next round to a seventh game is a fantastic sign of things to come in Edmonton. The future is bright for the Oilers team.

However, any Game 7 loss in the Stanley Cup playoffs is crushing, and this Oilers fan was feeling it. It doesn't appear he was watching the game, but as he's outside enjoying the weather, he looks down at his phone and learns the Oilers have been eliminated. That's when he stands up, and walks directly into the pool fully clothed.

We're glad to see Oilers fans are able to have a little fun and see the humour in their team falling in Round 2, and it's most likely because they know the future is so bright for this team.
