Ottawa Senators prospect takes a slap shot in a shootout, scores and breaks his stick

We just posted a story about Jamie Benn breaking several sticks, which came out of frustration. This broken stick came out of pure awesomeness.

Jonathan Deahlen, an 2^nd round pick of the Ottawa Senators, scored the game winning shootout-goal for Timrå IK and he did it with a slap shot from the hash marks. Not only is that an extremely savvy move from the youngster, but he also did it on a play where his stick blew up.

This is certainly one of the most grateful ways to break your stick, and the most beneficial to your team. Bob McKenzie did a great job summing up just how amazing this whole sequence really was.
