We just posted a story about Jamie Benn breaking several sticks, which came out of frustration. This broken stick came out of pure awesomeness.

Jonathan Deahlen, an 2nd round pick of the Ottawa Senators, scored the game winning shootout-goal for Timrå IK and he did it with a slap shot from the hash marks. Not only is that an extremely savvy move from the youngster, but he also did it on a play where his stick blew up.

This is certainly one of the most grateful ways to break your stick, and the most beneficial to your team. Bob McKenzie did a great job summing up just how amazing this whole sequence really was.
