Saturday, the Louisville Cardinals football team found themselves in a game that was about as competitive as watching an elementary school squad take on a bunch of Division 1 players, going up on Kent State 42-3 by the third quarter.

While the game itself wasn't all that interesting, spectators were given something to cheer for when a squirrel mad its way onto the field and began making its way into the end zone.

This. Squirrel. Went. All. The. Way. TOUCHDOWN!

Yes, that was the sound of over 50,000 fans in attendance cheering for a squirrel running the length of the field. If Kent State fans thought that the squirrel's TD would end up being a rallying point, they were wrong.

Still, when they leave the game, at least they can say they saw something worthwhile, right?
