If there was one moment in Game 5 between the Capitals and Leafs that Washington fans were the most worried, it was when Alex Ovechkin limped to the locker room in the first period.

Kadri's hit forced Ovi to leave the game towards the end of the first, but to the delight of all Capitals fans, he was back out on the ice to start the second period and he played the rest of the game.

The #Capitals get a quick goal in OT to beat the #MapleLeafs 2-1 and take a 3-2 series lead.

After the game, Ovechkin was asked about what he did when he got back to the locker room, and he gave an answer that has classic Ovi written all over it.

We'd hope Ovi mixed in some stretches or a trip to the trainer's room to get everything checked out, but in that moment he turned into a fan and enjoyed watching the game just as he enjoys playing the game.

Some would argue there isn't a more passionate player in hockey right now than Ovi, and we'd agree with that statement.

As for the Coke, Ovechkin loves the soft drink to say the least:

Little known fact right there.  What is a known fact, however, is Ovechkin's toughness, and his teammates commented on it after the game:

Ovi and the Caps have their first opportunity to close out the series Sunday against the Leafs in Toronto.
