The NBA trade deadline was quiet for the most part, but the Toronto Raptors made another big move by trading for P.J. Tucker.

The Raptors traded for Tucker and Serge Ibaka in the hopes of another deep playoff run, and with the additions the team is much better than the one that went to the Eastern Conference Finals last season.

Oddly enough, Tucker was originally drafted by Toronto back in 2006.  After the 2006-07 season, however, Tucker went overseas to play ball before returning to the NBA in 2012.

Since the 2012-13 season, the former Texas Longhorn has been with the Phoenix Suns, so we imagine it was probably tough when he found he was traded, especially considering the fashion in which he found out.

Heartbreaking to say the least.  We can't imagine what that conversation was like with Devin Booker 30 seconds later.

We do know, however, from this interview that Tucker was emotional on his way out.

Obviously Tucker will be missed in Phoenix, but we imagine he'll be welcomed with open arms in Toronto as the Raptors prepare for the playoffs.
