Thursday night's game between the Canadiens and Predators in Montreal wasn't your typical regular season game.

No, it was much more than that as P.K. Subban returned to the Bell Centre for the first time since being traded.

What will the reception be for #PKSubban as he returns to Montreal for the first time?

As you can imagine, Subban was very excited to return to the place he spent his entire career before he was dealt to Nashville, as soon as he stepped on the ice, fans chanted his name.

When players return for the first time, usually their former team puts together a video tribute as a way of thanking.  The Canadiens did that for Subban, and the tribute, plus the incredible reception from the fans brought P.K. to tears.

We're not crying, we were just cutting onions okay.

Subban loves Montreal, and clearly the fans will always love and appreciate him.

While Montreal is struggling, the fans were still happy when Nashville scored the first goal of the game as Subban picked up an assist on it.
