Canadians and Americans don't exactly see eye-to-eye when it comes to which nation they think is better at hockey, and we never expect them to.

Visa Canada decided to use this ongoing debate to their advantage for their newest Visa Checkout spot and got some help from San Jose Sharks Joe Pavelski and Logan Couture, as well as Boston Bruins centre Patrice Bergeron.

The commercial takes place in a cab and features the trio carpooling to the airport to catch a flight with Air Canada.

The spot starts off with Pavelski telling Couture that American players are better, but the Guelph, Ontario, native quickly shoots down his captain and tells him Canadian players are better. After listening to the San Jose teammates go back and forth, Bergeron decides he’s had enough and decides to make a last-second seat change through his app.

They must have been extremely late for their flight considering they all decided to show up to the airport in full gear.
