The Washington Capitals have a reputation for being unable to finish in the postseason, and if there’s one team who knows all about sending the Capitals home early it’s the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Over the years, the two teams have gone head-to-head in the postseason 10 different times and the Penguins have come out victorious in nine of those series, with the Capitals’ only series victory coming back in 1994 when they took down the Pens in six games.

The two teams battled it out for the first time this season in Washington on Wednesday night and traveling Penguins fans made sure to remind the hometown fans of their postseason struggles over the years.

Not only did they have the best sign of the night, but their team got a big 3-2 road victory over their rivals.
