Yesterday, Phil Kessel posted a photo of Evgeni Malkin’s stall and gear being relocated onto a folding chair and on a random wall in the dressing room.
Well, apparently the team decided to prank Phil Kessel right back by taking his stall, putting it into what looks like the Marlies weight room and basically turning it into a shrine. There’s a lot to take in from this thing, so we’ll break it down below. Kris Letang posed this on Twitter.
First, shoutout to the Canadian at heart, as they provide Kessel with some Tim Hortons cups. Second, Kessel is clearly a big Coca-Cola fan, because they have provided him with 15 cokes to sip on while he gets ready.
Then of course, there are all the motivational posters surrounding it, capped off by the amazing “The Phil Zone” sign - which is also signed by someone.
Funny enough, shrines seem to follow Kessel around, as he also is the focus of our favourite subreddit "Temple of the Phil".
