Phil Kessel’s twitter game is the strongest it’s ever been.

Earlier this year, when he was left off of Team USA at the World Cup, he let the world know that he thought he deserved to make the squad and would have helped them go further in the tournament. Now, he’s out here chirping Evgeni Malkin for what looks like a temporary stall in the Penguins’ locker room.

Pigeon🐦couldn't even get a regular stall

We wouldn’t be surprised if the only reason they introduced the pigeon emoji was for hockey players to chirp each other. We know there are some hockey fans doing some coding for Apple with the “Who is the ‘Magic Man?’” Siri function still an option (If you’re not sure what that is, just ask Siri the question and find out), so it wouldn’t be surprising if that really was a reason.

Either way, pigeon emojis or not, keep the social media game strong, Phil.
