2003 was one of the weirdest draft years ever.
The amount of talent that came out of the top 5 was absolutely absurd, but the most ridiculous parts of the draft were the photos. Before, we’ve touched on the outrageous rookie photo shoots which lead to TJ Ford’s ridiculously long shorts photo, but it was more than that.
If you grew up in the ‘90s, you’ll remember the baggy clothes era of the early 2000s and it is well represented in this photo of the 2003 draft class.
It’s amazing seeing how different the styles are – basically everyone is rocking finely tailored suits in this year’s photo where as you can barely see anybody’s shoes in 2003 because the pants are so long.
Look at LeBron James. His all white suit is dusting the floor everywhere he goes.
Now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for. TJ Ford’s suit is ridiculously long, but what did he wear better, that or the shorts?
