Christmas is less than two weeks away and teams are starting to get into the holiday spirit. From creating their own music videos to hosting toy drives, teams are doing whatever they can to get their fans into the holiday season. The Pittsburgh Penguins are the latest team to come up with a Christmas creation of their own, as they decided to re-create the trailer for “Elf” for their holiday e-card.
Apparently the Penguins couldn’t decide on one player to play the role of Buddy the Elf, so they let just about everyone have a shot at the lead role in their version of the movie. We’ve learned in the past that hockey players usually aren’t the greatest actors, but this is easily one of the better acting performances we have seen by hockey players.
