Ivan Chekhovich is an 18-year-old Russian forward currently playing with Baie-Comeau Drakkar of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. After playing in Russia all of his life, this is Chekhovich’s first season in the QMJHL and he’s tearing it up at an insane pace.

Through 31 games in Canada, the youngster has scored 15 goals and has totaled 33 points in that span. On Tuesday night, Baie-Comeau went up against Rimouski Oceanic. The game was pretty much all Rimouski, as they outshot Baie-Comeau 44-20 and beat them 4-2. However, the 18-year-old Russian forward scored a goal and assisted on the other, and his assist was Highlight of the Night material.

(Note: It’s the second goal in the video)

You would think that it was all Baie-Comeau in this game after watching those two clips, especially when Chekhovich makes it look so easy. He’s currently ranked in the Top 100 prospects heading into the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, and if he continues to make plays like that his stock is only going to rise leading up to draft day.
