On Thursday afternoon, professional golfer Cody Gribble made a name for himself during the opening round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational and it had nothing to do with his play.

During the par-5 sixth hole, the 26-year-old Dallas, Texas native noticed a massive alligator soaking in the sun while trying to relax and taking in some golf. Most people would turn around and walk the other way, but Gribble decided to personally send it back into the water so they could carry on with the day.

On Friday, the sixth hole was a hot spot for alligators yet again. This time it was Smylie Kaufman who encountered the creature, only he wasn’t as brave crazy as Gribble.

You can’t blame Kaufman for reacting the way he did. After all, there’s only two people we can think of who would actually get that close to an alligator on the golf course; Cody Gribble and Happy Gilmore.
