Earlier this month, Montreal Canadiens defenceman Shea Weber starred in a very random McDonald’s spot which featured him going head-to-head in a race against a cowboy on a horse.

The QMJHL’s Chicoutimi Saguenéens decided to have some with the commercial and shot their own parody which included Vincent Tremblay-Lapalme going head-to-head against a Chihuahua at the Centre Georges-Vézina.

When translated to English, the text in the tweet reads:

“After Weber against a horse, we restored this epic duel with one of our players ... fast and small!”

The parody spot was for one of the burgers that the team sells at their home arena.

It came right down to the wire but Tremblay-Lapalme came out on top by a hair.
