Heading into Game 3 of the Western Conference final Tuesday night, the series was even but the Predators had more shots on goal than the Ducks in the first two games of the series.

That trend continued in Game 3 as the Preds outshot the Ducks 40-20 in a 2-1 victory to take a 2-1 series lead.

It was a dominating performance by the Preds as far as shots were concerned, and after the game Randy Carlyle admitted that, but he also took a shot at the person counting shots for the game.

Poor shot counter.  Whoever it was was just doing his or her job, but clearly they didn't do it well enough as they got called out.

Before this series, Anaheim was 3-0 when being outshot in the playoffs, but clearly that won't work in the Western Conference final.

The Ducks have a day to figure out how they're going to generate more shots on goal as Game 4 goes Thursday night.
