After scoring 28 runs in two games against the Minnesota Twins, the Boston Red Sox dropped the first two games of a three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers while getting outscored 18-11.

Looking to get one win out of the series before heading back home to host the Tampa Bay Rays for the three games, the Red Sox did everything possible to get the ‘W’ on Thursday.

With the game tied 1-1 in the top of the 7th, Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez stepped up to the plate. The 26-year-old ended up swinging at a pitch outside the zone, but showed everyone he’s not going down without a fight and will do whatever it takes to connect on a pitch.

At first it looks like he drops his bat as he connects with the ball, but when the play is slowed down it shows him throwing his bat at the ball.

It didn’t work out for him or his team as the ball ended up going into foul territory, but the Red Sox managed to come away with a 4-1 victory.
