National Hockey League jerseys are a sacred thing. What this means is fans don't enjoy when people mess with the jersey designs, and it goes especially for original six teams. Don't mess with the Boston Bruins, Chicago Blackhawks, Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs, or Detroit Red Wings jerseys, unless they are very, very subtle and classic changes.
A Reddit user by the handle of kuff2 disobeyed the unwritten rules of custom hockey jerseys, and completely re-designed a Detroit Red Wings' jersey as a gift for his buddy for Christmas. We actually don't mind the design, but we aren't sure the hockey world will feel the same.
