It's rare for the glass to shatter during a hockey game, but when it does, it's usually because a puck hit the glass (and that person that shot the puck is a beast) or a player hits another player into the glass.

During the Rimouski and Quebec game on Sunday, the latter occurred as Mikael Robidoux delivered a dangerous hit to Samuel Gaumond and the glass shattered in the process.

The hit was ugly and questionable to say the least, and that fact was supported by the fact that Robidoux was given a game misconduct and five-minute major for the hit.

Rimouski would go on to win the game and Gaumond was able to stay in the game after being on the wrong end of that glass-shattering hit.
