The Webby Awards are a world recognized event created to recognize the best the internet has to offer, and in this year’s social media sports category, TSN is the only nominee representing Canada.

Last year, with the NBA All-Star game being held in Toronto, with all of the big networks in town, TSN led the way with exclusive live content, original art and videos promoting and covering the event. To support the recognition of Canadian organizations in this field, any votes can help them out.

While you’re here, we can also show off some of the best content there was to offer from a crazy weekend in Toronto that allowed TSN to accumulate over 30 million impressions on social media in the week. It all started with a “Welcome to the 6ix” video promoting Toronto and Canada.

From there, the biggest story of the weekend was captured in two major moments, as Kobe Bryant (who was playing in his final All-Star game) signed things for two fans on opposite ends of the spectrum: One a reigning NBA MVP and another a young kid hoping to follow in the Mamba’s footsteps.

Of course, as always, plenty of stars showed up for the events as well, many bearing messages for the TSN audience.

Of course, with the All-Star festivities in town, everywhere had something special going on. The TSN talent joined in to host and join in on activities all around the city, much of which was captured on TSN’s Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook.

Of course as you filtered through the rest of this content, you may have noticed the MJ doll that made its way around the events. Travelling MJ was an integral part of our journey through the All-Star week.

Finally, among all of that, there was the artwork. Supported by local Canadian artists, TSN was able to produce several original pieces promoting and covering the events of the weekend.
