The Waste Management Phoenix Open teed off at TPC Scottsdale on Friday. Rickie Fowler opened up the tournament with a pretty decent first round, as he sits tied for ninth place at -4. At one point on Thursday afternoon, Fowler ended up sinking a 20-foot putt for a birdie, but it was his celebration that caught everyone’s attention.

That’s right, after sinking the putt for the birdie Fowler decided to pull out the Salt Bae as his go-to celebration.

That right there is the modern day version of Shooter McGavin's gun fingers. Perhaps Fowler was inspired after the man behind the Salt Bae craze ended up cutting and serving meat to Fowler a couple of weeks ago.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce also got in on the fun and celebrated a touchdown in the Pro Bowl last weekend with a Salt Bae celebration of his own.

We’re guessing this is going to be the 2017 version of the dab and we’re totally fine with that.
