Time (and winning) heals all wounds, and Monday the sports world was reminded of that fact as the Cubs gave Steve Bartman his very own World Series ring.

The gesture was an incredible one to say the least, and although some Cubs fans might still be bitter about the incident in 2003, they now have a championship and it was worth the wait.

Some athletes, though, like Roberto Luongo are still waiting on a ring, and once he found out that Bartman got a ring from the Cubs, Luongo shared a wonderful tweet for the sports world to enjoy:

Once again, Roberto proved social media is his world and we're just living in it.

Although Luongo hasn't won a ring, he's accomplished a whole lot over the course of his career, most notably winning two gold medals with Canada at the Olympics.

Plus, at 38-year-old, he's still playing at a high level, so maybe he can tie Bartman in the rings category.
