Goalie interference is one of those rules that seems to be up there in terms of confusion with what a catch is in the NFL.

Just when you think you have both figured out, something happens in a game, a call is made that fans don't expect based on past incidents and the entire issue as a whole becomes all the more confusing than it was in the first place.

We've already seen multiple goalie interference reviews during the playoffs, and Wednesday night during Game 4 between the Leafs and Capitals, fans were treated to one after contact with Frederik Andersen came before a Washington goal.

The official closest to the net instantly waved the goal off, and after review, the call on the ice stood, which prompted the hockey world's favourite goalie Roberto Luongo to tweet this:

Well, Luongo proved once again why there's no hockey player better when it comes to social media.

The goal being disallowed didn't matter in the end as the Capitals won 5-4 even the series.

The #Capitals hold on to defeat the #MapleLeafs 5-4 to even the series at two games apiece.
