Minor League Baseball teams know how to do promotional nights properly. Not only do the teams manage to come up with some of the most random theme nights, but they always go all out for the event.

This season, the Colorado Rockies’ Triple-A affiliate the Albuquerque Isotopes will embrace one of the most special things about New Mexico.

With respects to the culinary customs of New Mexico, the Isotopes will become the Albuquerque Green Chile Cheeseburgers on June 16 for one night only.

Not only will the players be decked out in the Green Chile Cheeseburgers uniforms on June 16, but fans can purchase the merchandise as well.

The best part about the entire promotion is that they will play the Fresno Grizzlies that day, who will be known as the Fresno Tacos for the night.

This is definitely one of the more random promotions we’ve seen Minor League Baseball team pull off, but we’re all for it.
