The Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor feud has intensified recently after the UFC star got his boxing license and took shots at Floyd before Mayweather responded with some harsh words of his own.

Still, all that fans have seen is the war of words when all they really want to see is a war inside the octagon or the ring, and as McGregor said previously, that won't happen due to financial reasons.

In other words, McGregor wants more money or he's not fighting, and we all know Floyd is all about his money, and that one "thing" was the reason why Ronda Rousey called out both competitors in the midst of all of the trash talk, via ESPN's Ramona Shelburne:

“If money is the motivation, then f— that,” she says. “All these Money people… Money [Floyd] Mayweather, Money [Conor] McGregor. I see they’re trying to do an angle or whatever. People buy it.

The worship of money in our society is so deep. But just because that’s the easiest way to keep people’s attention or entertain them doesn’t mean that’s the right way.”

Rousey also admitted that the loss to Holly Holm saved her from becoming like Conor and Floyd:

"That loss saved me from becoming what I hate.  One of those people who live their lives to impress everyone else.  Who put up a front for the world to admire.  Who make sure every charitable act is posted and shared for their own image gain.  Who posture and pose for people they care nothing about except for the opinion they have of them."

Both Mayweather and McGregor don't shy away from showing off their valuables, and why not they've earned it, but looking at the bigger picture in terms of their potential fight, Rousey brings up a good point about the money.

While we doubt McGregor or Mayweather will respond to Rousey, she has her own fight to focus on as she returns to the octagon to take on Amanda Nunes for the title at UFC 207 on December 30th.

Ronda plays no games 👊
