Rory McIlroy fired a perfect shot at a former PGA Tour player who called him 'bored'

Rory McIlroy received lot of criticism online following his early exit from the US Open, but one tweet in particular caught his eye.

PGA Tour Champions golfer Steve Elkington tweeted about McIlroy following his early exit, stating that the world’s No. 2 ranked golfer must be bored playing golf.
 

Even though he didn’t send the tweet directly to McIlroy, he still came across the tweet and fired right back at Elkington.
 

The 28-year-old was quick to correct Elkington about how much he’s earned so far, and even shared his tournament history with the 54-year-old Australian golfer.

Elkington replied to McIlroy, but only to get roasted yet again by the youngster.
 

Elkington is still going on about the mini Twitter feud on his account, but McIlroy is probably over it by now and enjoying his weekend off.
