Ever wonder what band made that song called "All-Star" that was in the movie Shrek?

Well, it was none other than the San Jose based band 'Smash Mouth.'

The song, which was released in 1999, is still pretty big today, and it's easily the band's biggest hit they've ever made.

Although the song gets some play every now and then, it gets mentioned in sports when the conversation is about All-Star players in respective sports.

Tuesday, the NHL released the 2017 All-Star game rosters, and the band congratulated the four members of the San Jose Sharks on being named All-Stars in the most perfect way possible.

Obviously Peter DeBoer isn't an "All-Star" but he was selected to be one of the four coaches, so he still counts.

Either way, was there any other way the band could've congratulated Pavelski, Burns, Jones, and DeBoer?

Even if you knew the joke was coming, it's still pretty funny and we're sure it brings back some great 90s memories.  Enjoy the nostalgia until the next All-Star selections in another sport are revealed.
