Mike Phillips has played the national anthem on his trustee saxophone a few times in the past. He's actually the only person in the world signed to the Jordan brand that is not a professional athlete. On Thursday, Phillips exploded on the internet when his rendition of the anthem hit national television ahead of Thanksgiving Thursday’s early football game.

Blue Jays fans may remember Phillips rendition of the anthem back from the ALCS of 2015 when he performed in Kansas City for the Royals vs. Blue Jays.

It didn’t take long for the internet to pay respect to the New York native and his jazzy saxophone anthem.
