Phil Kessel seems to always find himself into the hockey conversation.

The two-time Stanley Cup champion has already established himself as a hockey legend due to his combination of on-ice skills and off-ice humour. Anything the guy does (or what other people do to him) seems to get a rise out of most hockey fans.

The 30-year-old’s name was recently mentioned in an interview on Beer League Talk with Calgary Flames forward Sam Bennett. At the 3:20 Mark, Bennett was asked who his team’s Phil Kessel is; not as a hockey player, but as an eater. Bennett’s response is probably the last person you would have guessed, so you're in for quite the surprise.

Who would have expected the 157 pound Johnny ‘Hockey” Gaudreau to have been the answer?

Kessel has proven that he’s not afraid to pack it down, and isn’t shy about it either. During his day with the Cup, the American loaded its top with numerous hot dogs while playing a round of golf.

Both players are ironically two of the most skilled in the league. Gaudreau is currently third in points with 22 while Kessel sits in 10th with 20. They don’t exactly look like your typical hockey players, but that hasn’t stopped them from tearing up the league.

Some players spend hours at a time training, but when it come down to it you can either play or you can’t, no matter your height or weight is. Both players are proof of just that.
