Erik Karlsson is absolutely ridiculous.

As Ian Mendes pointed out earlier in the week, Karlsson is put on a career defining playoff performance so far in the Senators’ series and it’s been fun to watch. First there was the cross ice pass he made to tie the game up in game 2 and yesterday there were several plays including the first goal of the game.

Passed while crossing over his own red line, Karlsson fired what is basically a four-liner to Mike Hoffman before he put home a Forsberg like goal (If you haven’t seen it, watch the full goal here).

So, the pass travelled 116.3 feet, peaking at 10 feet in the air and landing directly on Hoffman's tape. Shoutout to Sean Tierney for pointing this out.
