Though many counted them out from the beginning, they currently hold a 1-0 Eastern Conference final lead over the high-flying Pittsburgh Penguins.
Ottawa has not been getting by easily though, as seven of their games have now gone to overtime. Remarkably, they are now 6-1 in those contests.
Sens fans will be pleased to know that history is on their side. Since 1993, five of the six teams that managed to win five or more overtime games through the first three rounds all made their way to the Stanley Cup Finals.
This team has showed unparalleled resilience throughout the playoffs, and it would certainly be something if they could knock off the defending champs.
