One of the best parts about the Grey Cup game, much like any huge sporting spectacle, is the halftime show.

Thursday night, fans had to wait patiently until halftime of the Ottawa and Edmonton game for the announcement of who would be taking the stage at the 105th Grey Cup this year in Ottawa and it was worth the wait.

The one and only Shania Twain will be headlining the halftime show in Ottawa and for the second time in her career, the top-selling female country artist of all-time will be playing at the Grey Cup (2002 in Edmonton).

Once the announcement was made, fans took to Twitter to express their excitement.

Safe to say fans are pumped and we can't wait, either!
